UDB DB2 DBA We are looking for entrepreneurial, resourceful, and technically capable people to be an integral part of the consulting services side of ecfirst.com's on-site development and delivery team. JOB DURATION: 1 year LOCATION: Des Moines, IA / Sioux Falls, SD / Minneapolis, MN / Frederick, MD * The location can be in Des Moines IA, Sioux Falls, SD Minneapolis, MN. or Frederick, MD Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience. Description: Leads the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Develops data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides senior-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Serve as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. * UDB DB2 DBA who can support data marts/warehouses and be on-call. * Most of our environments are EEE with some EE. * Will also need to be included in the on-call rotation to support DB2 DBA. * A plus would be if this DBA also could support smaller MS SQL Server environments but is not a requirement. * The primary focus here is to have a strong DB2 DBA with EEE experience and has supported large data warehouses.
