Major medical device organization is seeking a technical writer with experience in writing validation deliverables specifically for learning management systems (LMS). Equally key to writing validation deliverables (URS, FRS, SDS) and creation of OQ and PQ test scripts is thorough knowledge of SCORM and AICC standards (see below). The candidate must illustrate experience in validating the LMS content as well as the system interfaces. Technical writing experience, excellent verbal communication skills, LMS validation experience in creating deliverables, and systems background are essential. Candidates must possess all the desired skills to be considered. Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is a collection of standards and specifications for web-based e-learning. It defines communications between client side content and a host system called the run-time environment (commonly a function of a learning management system). SCORM also defines how content may be packaged into a transferable ZIP file.
