*JOB TITLE: REMEDY DEVELOPER** *
Location: Ashburn, VA
Duration: 6 months +
Senior Remedy Developer/Architect to provide Subject Matter Expertise on
Remedy and the CMDB. The person should have a full understanding of Remedy
AR Server, ITSM applications and the CMDB. The SME will be responsible for
assisting in putting together a strategy for the use of Remedy, provide
guidance around the product categorizations and the use of the CMDB. The
person will need to have several years experience in ITIL and experience
with Remedy implementations. The SME may also be required to assist with
providing guidance on setup of access, managing licensing, reporting
solutions, configuring Remedy, etc
The following are the various tasks the SME will be expected
to assist with:
1.Understand our current implementation of Remedy
2.Provide guidance for an out-of-box implementation of
Remedy and the ITSM suite
3.Provide guidance on out-of-box implementation of the CMDB
4.Provide guidance on the out-of-box implementation of the
ITSM suite including the following modules:
Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and SLM applications.
5.Provide guidance on reporting solutions, data federation
and reconciliation.
*SKILL: SENIOR (7+ YRS)*
Knowledge of Remedy AR Server - versions 6.3 and higher,
CMDB 1.0 and higher, ITSM 6.x and higher
Person must have a detailed understanding of the
functionality of Remedy and the ITSM suite, at an architectural level, be
able to articulate a strategy for the out-of-box use of the tool suite, be
knowledgeable about best practice usage of the tool, and have implemented
Remedy in several large organizations.
The person should have experience in all aspects of Remedy -
including development, administration and configuration.
comments: In addition to good technical skills it is also
important to have good communication skills so that the candidate can assist
with strategy presentations.
