Project Manager Position Overview The Project Manager is our Engagement Manager, ultimately responsible for oversight of all staff and success of the project. S/He is the primary point of contact for all status and issues of the engagement. S/He will work closely with the help desk, functional, and technical resources to manage workload and ensure the efficiencies described in this proposal. The Project Manager will ensure adherence to all project and technical standards. The Project Manager will report progress, issues, and SLA metrics to project managers. Roles and Responsibilities . Aligning engagement with client's vision, goals, and standards . Providing engagement oversight and guidance, aligning the people, process, operations, and technology components of the project . Ensuring compliance with CAI's application support methodologies . Managing overall conformance to project objectives, requirements and service levels . Managing project resources . Managing project risk/issues and escalate when appropriate . Reporting progress, status, and issues, both written and verbally through periodic status reports and status meetings . Managing project schedules, ensuring timely completion of established tasks Roles and Responsibilities: . Aligning engagement with client's vision, goals, and standards . At least 5 years' experience as a program or project manager leading a team in providing application support and maintenance . Experience in managing teams of 30 or more members . Working knowledge of Oracle Database Management, Data Warehousing and Reporting . Demonstrated experience with o Systems Development o Task Order Issuance and Management o Change Management o PC Support and Help Desk/Incident Management o QA/Systems Integration Testing o Business Intelligence Reporting o Computer Operations Management o LAN Management o IT and Desktop Security o Disaster Recovery Planning Education: Minimum Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science desirable, but not required (Experience is much more important) PMI PMP Certification a plus.
