About the JOB -

Consultant should be responsible for supporting business activities
through work on key projects related to enterprise applications and
system integration.



The successful candidate for this position will immediately play a key
role in Oracle Financials implementation.  Key to success in this
position is an understanding of Oracle Open Interface concepts,
applicable Oracle APIs, and conversion approaches. Additionally you
will demonstrate an understanding of structured system implementation
methodologies such as Oracle AIM.



You must be self-motivated, demonstrate a high degree of attention to
detail with an ability to initiate, manage, and follow through on
multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision. Also required
are passable skills in current Office applications (Visio, Project).



Responsibilities:

Constructs reports, forms, conversion and interface programs based on
provided business requirements
Actively participates in the testing lifecycle
Develops supporting technical documentation
Defines data required for conversion
Deep understanding of Oracle e-Business Suite technical architecture
Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite development tools
Reports activity status on a frequent basis
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with appropriate support
teams to resolve problems
Work with Functional and Technical Analysts to determine technical
feasibility and level of effort to implement business requirements
Drive recommendations and technical solutions
Assist in the identification and implementation of change management/
code migration practices
Deliver high-quality work products on time with minimal direction

About the JOB -

The successful candidate for this position will primarily be
responsible for supporting business activities through work on key
projects related to enterprise applications and system integration.
The consultant in this position must display experience with all
implementation activities related to interfaces, data conversions, and
application extensions.   This position will play a key role in the
implementation of the client’s Oracle Applications Financials.



Our client would like to see candidates who possess experience working
with cross-functional business initiatives involving varying levels of
the organization in developing solution requirements and translating
business needs into technical requirements.

It is imperative that you be self-motivated with an ability to
initiate, manage, and follow through on multiple concurrent projects
under minimal supervision and high attention to detail.



Key to success in this project will be your ability to navigate Oracle
database structures using a combination of query tools and Structured
Query Language in order to complete target-to-source system mappings
for interfaces. Finally, our client would like to see proven success
within fast-paced organizations.



Essential Functions:

Apply knowledge and best practices to support the project team
throughout the implementation and on-going support and development of
Oracle e-Business Suite applications
Create, review, and maintain detailed requirements and technical
design documentation for interfaces, conversions, and application
extensions
Facilitate requirements and design meetings to develop solutions for
interfaces, conversions, and application extensions
Facilitate and complete testing activities
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with appropriate support
teams to resolve problems
Participate in projects and provide technical coordination on issues
and design planning for new initiatives where project may impact
Oracle data management, reliability, and existing interfaces/
conversions/extensions
Assist with risk management and change management on projects
Work with functional project team to address complex cross-functional
business issues
Drive recommendations and technical solutions
Deliver high-quality work products on time with minimal direction
Contribute insightful thought leadership into technology to enable
business teams to meet their objectives
Knowledge & Skills:

Undergraduate degree required
Three or more years of special projects and enterprise application
experience (Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle J.D.
Edwards) with hands-on implementation and configuration from a
functional perspective
Strong understanding in the following business process areas: Record-
to-Report and Procure-to-Pay
Experience with the following Oracle e-Business Suite 11i / R12
modules: General Ledger, Cash Management and Accounts Payable
R12 Oracle Financials Functional Foundation
Oracle Database 11g
PL/SQL experience
Systems implementation skills including scoping, planning,
requirements gathering, conceptual and detailed design, configuration,
testing, deployment and support.
