Strong *Java, JSP, Servlet and XML* development skills
Expertise in designing and developing web-based applications using Java and
use of *Apache Tomcat *application server.
6 or more years experience in *web-based* application development.
Experience developing *Web front-ends*, using *HTML, DHTML*, *Javascript and
CSS*.
Experience in *Linux/Unix Servers* and Unix Scripting
Assess available technologies and develop and implement solutions

*DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:***
Familiarity with *Ruby on Rails* (ROR) preferred
Familiarity with *JMS & Websphere*
Familiarity with *Documentum*
Familiarity with *designing/developing eCommerce* applications
Familiarity with developing *web applications *in at least one additional
programming language.
Experience with *public sector application* processes
