Hi All, Need SQL expert 8 weeks project + $50 C2C Orange County, CA
Interview today Jan 5th 09 start date -SQL replication (layers of replication, bi-directional, transactional) -exp w/ SQL implementations (2000 / 2005) -3-5 yrs exp w/ SQL 2000/2005 -3-5 yrs w/ Windows 2003 server -enterprise level exp working with min. 20 servers for multiple locations -hands on! Good Communication and the ability to teach. Plus: -SQL server reporting and analysis services -queries data to know how they want it -UNIX admin exp -Clustering exp. D2D: They want a SQL expert to come in and help/advise the company on how to implement new SQL server databases into their environment. The client is a SQL 2005 shop so they must be well versed with 2005. The company is initially going from two databases to 4 and soon to 6+. Candidate will be responsible for designing the solution for the introduction of the new equipment while making sure the information is still able to be shared and saved effectively. The most important experience we need is the SQL replication. Since the 2 data centers are located in Indiana and California the company has to be able to have all the information copied and provided to both data centers. After the initial implementation there will be many other projects where the candidate could possibly help the team. If they have additional expertise outside of SQL will make them more valuable and a potential long term contract or perm employee.
