* A true SA with actual Siebel experience--not just working in a Siebel
environment
* Someone who can interact technically with the Siebel developers and
understands the techno speak (they do not want a developer)
* Same person who can take the techno speak and understand it and take it to
the business users and translate it into functional requirements and
documents
* They MUST be able in an interview to explain exactly how they have done
this process in the past with precise examples. The manager wants to hear
how they did it, not how the team did it
* Must have RUP experience and Use Case experience
* This is a true Techno-Functional position.
* Communication must be good
The contractor will be responsible to work with the business and the
internal team to develop and document the functional requirements in a Use
case / supplementary spec format using RUP methodology. We are looking for
strong candidates with good knowledge in Siebel functionalities and how
system works.

Equity Fund Derivatives
Position Objectives
We are looking for a Sybase database developer who can support the Equity
Fund Derivatives platform. The candidate would be responsible for
developing and tuning SQL code to better system performance. He/she would
also take responsibility for the development database environment and would
interact with the production DBAs.
Position Responsibilities
• Provides database expertise for Fund Derivatives systems
development team
• Tunes the performance of queries, stored procedures and other
aspects of the database
• Provides on-demand data extracts from production databases for
Fund Derivatives users to help solving production issues
• Liaises with Paris and KOP production teams to help solving
production issues
• Manages the development Sybase servers and develops scripts to
administer those servers
Position Requirements Skills
• Extensive knowledge of Transact-SQL
• Expertise in performance tuning Transact-SQL code as well as
at the server level
• Good knowledge of Perl and Unix Shell Scripting
• Background as a DBA on Sybase 12.5 is a plus
• Knowledge of C++ RogueWave libraries and/or JDBC is a plus
• Knowledge of capital market environments a plus
• Ability to take initiative and work self-directed
