We have existing work and future opportunities at TSN: • Iu-PS MVIV PO with $0.5M work left to be completed • For 2009 we are discussing additional services to support the Core PDP handover work which could be close to another $1M • There are other projects at TSN including IMS and launch readiness in 2009 which will require additional Packet Core support services. All of this requires we have a strong Core Technical Manager that can help drive this work. This person should be strong in Wireless Packet Core(ie, SGSN, GGSN/ISN, HLR). Technical Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and managing Core Network Implementation, Multi Vendor Interface Verification Testing and System Acceptance Testing in the customer project from tendering phase to actual implementation. Main Roles and Responsibilities *1. Core Network Implementation* * * Plan and manage core network implementation and be the primary technical interface to Customer throughout implementation phase: - Produce core network implementation plan including schedule, tasks, milestones and needed resources - Manage resources during core network deployment - Progress reporting and quality management *2. System Acceptance* * * Manage System acceptance testing in order to obtain customer acceptance: - Define acceptance procedure and criteria - Plan and manage acceptance testing - Plan and manage resources for testing - Produce progress follow-up reports including Final Report - Organize review meetings with customer and project team *3. **Multi Vendor Interface Verification (MVIV) Service*** * * Responsible for management of Multivendor Interface Verification Testing: - Define MVIV scope for the project (test network description, scope statements, assumptions, constraints) - Produce MVIV test plan and schedule - Plan and manage resources - MVIV execution management - Produce progress follow-up reports including Final Report - Organize review meetings with customer, vendors and project team *4. Fault and Configuration Management* Responsible to organize project Fault and Configuration Management: - Organize project fault management via valid tools and processes - Fault status and progress follow-up and review meetings - Management of problem solving and escalation situations - Network SW and HW configuration management - Planning and management of SW/HW upgrades and updates - License Key management *5. Integration Process* * * Set up project integration process with Network Planning, Site Engineering and Customer. - Management of Integration process - Remote integration planning and coordination Networks: Internal: Product Line Solution Managers, Technical Support, CT and Project/Care teams' contacts, Other Technical Managers, Project Management/ Technical Management line organizations.
