Provides senior-level technical support to Web Developers. Installs new hardware and software. Upgrades and maintains the systems that employ scalable, advanced technologies and methods to integrate Web systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new Web enterprises or expanding existing business onto the Web. Develops and implements Web systems support applications infrastructure for e-commerce, Web-based customer support and Web interfaces to databases. Monitors and gathers performance statistics to assist in determining hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected transaction volumes and response time and system availability targets. May provide guidance to less experienced staff. Our Client's Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration group is looking for an Engineer to join the SharePoint Enterprise Support and Engineering team. The team is responsible for the design, support and marketing of the SharePoint application throughout company. The position will involve the engineering, design, operation and implementation of the MOSS 2007 application and ancillary components. Applicants should be self-starters and have excellent written and oral communications skills.
