Skills:

Seeking an experienced senior Oracle/Java/Oracle Reports Technical Lead to
help in the Tier 2 production support technical triage and provide technical
lead support in the design/development activities. The candidate will need
to demonstrate good leadership, teamwork, communication skills and solid
knowledge of software development using Oracle,

Java, Struts and Oracle reports.

The candidate should be able perform the technical root cause analysis of
the production support issues, come up with the technical recommendation for
resolving them and document

the cause/fix. Operating in parallel as Tier 2 production support analyst
and Technical lead, the candidate will need to support and collaborate with
many people as part of the day-to-day

job responsibility. The candidate must be well versed in SDLC methodology.

The candidate must have at least have 5-7 years of experience in web systems
design, development and prior experience in triaging the production support
issues as Tier 2 technical support. Experience in a pharmaceutical
"Validated" environment is a strong plus.

Required skills:

- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies
- Strong oracle database knowledge – PL/SQL and SQL queries
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing web systems using
Oracle/Java/Struts technology.
- Working experience in a reporting tool, preferably Oracle Reports.
- Strong technical knowledge in authoring/reviewing design documents as
Technical Lead and coordinating the deployment of system builds to multiple
environments
- Performed the role of Technical Tier 2 production support triage analyst –
technical analysis of the system issues, root cause investigation and
documentation of the cause/resolution
- Ability to work with external vendor on the production support fixes and
data changes.


The Responsibilities will include:

-Perform the technical lead role - effort estimation, system design and
development.
-Design/Develop reports using the Oracle Reports tool
-Participate in design/code reviews and provides guidance to external vendor
on technical analysis/design.
-Perform the role of Tier 2 production support triage analyst - initial
technical analysis, reproducing the issue, root cause investigation,
recommend solution and document the cause/fix
-Collaborate with Regional support team and Production support Manager on
the system related help desk ticket issues
-Performing data extracts from the oracle database and working with the
database and server Administrators on system deployment
