ONLY SENIOR CONSULTANTS !!!* ** ** *Plano**, TX* 9 Months Market ** ** *Description: * Assist with project communication plans/ decks Assist with project test cases Assist with project test case execution Experience with SDLC process and UML a plus Experience with Telecommunications Order Entry and Support a plus *Candidate must have experience with the following;* Requirements Gathering - 8 + years Process Optimization - 7 + years Architecture - 8+ yrs Business Analyst - 8+ yrs *Telecommunications - 8+ yrs* *Job Responsibilities/Competencies:* * *• Participate with business architects and analysts in identifying and defining business requirements • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis and facilitating requirements workshops • Understand the client business environment and their associated requirements and propose solutions to the enterprise architecture and system teams • Develop business process descriptions using BPMN, use cases, scenarios, and task/workflow analysis • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs • Enter, manipulate, and report analysis using Telelogic System Architect & DOORS requirements management tool • Assist with the development of the organization's requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools. • Must be able to perform under tight timeframes with proven problem solving skills *Qualifications and Competencies:* • 8+ Years in a Business Requirements/Analyst role or similar experience with the above responsibilities • *5+ Years in a Telecom environment with a deep understanding of Telecom's OSS quote-to-cash cycle * • Solid experience with Architecture and requirement management tools and concepts. Experience with Telelogic's System Architect & DOORS a plus • Direct experience with software development life cycle and processes in a team environment with emphasis on requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice • Languages/Methodologies: Use Case creation, workflow design using BPMN, SDLC • Strong written and verbal communication skills (emphasis on documentation) • Basic understanding of web services, SOAs • Some travel may be required • An undergraduate degree (BA/BS Computer Science).
