* * *Send resume ----> [email protected]* Title: Senior Technical Lead Java Engineer Contract Duration: 3 plus months Location: Norwood, Massachusetts Minimum Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS Must have current Lead Technical Java Engineer Experience 5 -7 years plus * Quick study, self-motivated, discipline, unflappable * Top-drawer analytical and communication skills * Comfortable in working with a lightweight methodology that morphs from one project to the next * Firm grasp of object and aspect-oriented design and programming practices and patterns * Understanding of enterprise level project architecture, the development lifecycle, and post production support * Experience completing J2EE projects including use of Web Services * Experience in providing enterprise-level technology solutions to the clients * Experience modeling data for RDBMS, familiar with common vendors database administration tools, understanding vendor specific database implementations * Able to produce concise design documentation, including UML diagrams where necessary * Experience with automated unit and functional testing tools, and the ability to write and execute test plans * Solid optimization and debugging techniques * Experience in managing development and production environment including database and application servers, configuring and tuning load balancing, clustering, and monitoring 3-6 years of experience with: * Java/J2EE (1.4+). Experience with Java 5 features (annotations, generics, autoboxing) is a plus. * JSP (1.2+) and Servlets (2.3+) * JSF, Struts, Spring MVC, Tapestry, WebWork or similar * SQL and JDBC * XML / XSLT, X/HTML. Experience in other markup languages is a plus. * JavaScript and CSS * CVS, Subversion, or similar * IP protocols 2+ years experience with: * Hibernate, iBATIS, JPA or similar * AJAX * Jakarta Log4j * Apache Ant * Database views, triggers, and stored procedures * SOAP or REST-based web services * Managing J2EE Application Servers (Resin, Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss) * Linux/Windows system administration Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: * Oracle / MySQL including triggers and functions * Basic knowledge of C++/C#, .Net, Flash Description: Senior Java Engineer JOB PURPOSE / MISSION As a Contract Senior Java Engineer, you'll provide leadership on all facets of the development lifecycle.
