Hyperion Essbase/OBIEE Architect Location: Irving, TX Duration: 12 months Rate- Open, so stay competitive Client: Verizon * 10+ years of IT experience with more than 5 yrs of business intelligence/MOLAP/reporting experience. - Must be proficient with Hyperion Essbase, Financial Reporting and Smartview. - Candidate should have experience on Unix/Linux platform. - Must be a team player and have good communications skill * SOA experience is desired. - Experience with Hyperion Financial Management, OBIEE (or Siebel analytics), OBIEE+, or BI is a definite plus. * Management experience is a plus. * Knowledge of Statement of work and financial process . * Project Management skills and knowledge of project life cycle . * Candidate will be responsible for coming up with technical solutions and overseeing team implementations. - The candidate will be required to architect the Essbase platform, analyze pros and cons of the various architecture decisions and make/implement the Essbase recommendation. - The candidate will be also responsible for designing and creating dashboards, reports , and perform time oracle database. * Oversee the development of software or enhancements. Create project plans and design documentation to support development of all enhancements and new functionality. Manage development and testing of all processes. . Create business requirements for all data warehouse processes. Manage the development team to meet the business requirements. Manage test team for all production releases. Responsible for delivery of all his/her application enhancements and supporting processes.
