Responsibilities:*
*SAS Administration***
1) In-depth installation and support for
a. BASE SAS
i. Versions: 8.2, 9.1.3, 9.2
b. SAS Access
i) Oracle and DB2
ii) some knowledge of SQLSERVER, ODBC, xOLE-DB, Sybase
c. SAS Macros
d. Creating and maintaining Scripts
e. Added Bonus
i. Knowledge of SAS BI
ii. Knowledge of SAS Monitoring
iii. Assist with processing Batch and Interactive SAS jobs. Reduce
affect of Interactive on Batch.
2) Provide backup support 24x7 support of UNIX servers.
a. Must have understanding of supporting BASE SAS on UNIX (IBM or
SUN) servers running Operating Systems AIX or Solaris
3) Added value towards knowledge of
a. Investigating and resolving SAS coding and hardware issue
i. RAM, code, disk storage,
b. Work well in a team
c. Be able to provide constructive criticism to SAS programmers
d. Create new ideas on implementing or supporting SAS environments
