Position : Business Systems Consultant with Teredata and Microstragety Duration: 6 – 18 mts Location: San Francisco Rate: $40/hr Local Bay Area Candidates Status: *Accepting Candidates* Client Company: Client Job ID: Employment Type: Contract City: San Francisco Internal Job Description: *Job Description – Business Systems Consultant ()* Provide support and analysis of various data warehouse development projects. Work with user groups to resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Work with business partners to understand problems, define, develop and document requirements, develop and execute test plans, validate data for newly implemented projects, resolve issues and participate in project meetings as a business systems consultant team member. Provide project sizings. Support business partners requests for additional research as well as business and systems analysis related to project scopes. Work with existing project managers and technical staff to support projects. Perform detailed data analysis using Teradata Sql. *Qualifications* Bachelor's degree and/or 7 - 10 years business systems consulting experience. Knowledge and experience of systems development process. Must be able to write and execute Teradata SQL code. Must have strong analytical skills. Must be able to analyze data files and data contained within files. Strong background in testing and test plan development. Familiarity with data warehouse database environment. (e.g. data modeling and database structures) Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with team members at all levels Must be able to communicate effectively with technical developers and be able to translate business requirements as required. Must be able to work independently, support several projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively. Must be a team player, be flexible and self-motivated Excellent relationship building and client partnering skills.
