Assist with Application Database Analysis, generate standard re-usable Build Specifications, provide capacity planning and forecasting method & tools. Provide migration details for a seamless migration to the new data center architecture/infrastructure. Develop a standard DB Infrastructure template which can be leverage by each Oracle, Sybase and SQL server migration planned for DCMP. IT distributed hardware and operating system platforms, including Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux on Intel/AMD, Windows on Intel/AMD, and Sun Solaris/UNIX. Hands on knowledge of Oracle, Sybase and common DB platforms, DB upgrades, data migration practices and tools. Excellent communication skills are required.
