Rate : $35-$40/hr With all inclusive
Description:
Candidate will work with the (Unix – AIX) staff to configure and deploy new RS6000 hardware to refresh current outdated equipment. This will include the use and understanding of all possible hardware models (Regatta, p520's through p595's). In addition, a strong understanding of Network topologies and Storage area Networks is required. Experience with EMC power path and multi path connectivity is desired. Candidate will assist with the migration of aging physical servers to new Virtual servers utilizing VIO Servers and micro partitioning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Must possess strong Verbal and written communication skills. Results orientated individual with the ability to work well with little or no direct supervision. Ability to collaborate and flourish in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Key skills required:
5 plus years in an enterprise Unix environment AIX v 5.1 through AIX v6.x IBM Regatta Hardware p5 and p6 EMC Power Path Nim and HMC experience Logical and Physical migration experience.

Red Hat Linux
AIX System Administration Certification
HMC / Regatta Hardware Certification
IBM Virtualization (VIO) Certification
Must have 5 Years Experience with AIX and Senior Level Skill Set.
