Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured:
The Operations Technology Group management team uses metrics to make
fact-based decisions in the management of applications, service teams,
and in the identification of process improvement opportunities. The
candidate will be responsible for developing new metrics; producing
reports and scorecards; participating in continuous process
improvements; and performing ad hoc analysis for management. The role
requires solid experience with analytical reporting, metrics
development, and data analysis; as well as an ability to work
independently with acute attention to detail. Intermediate to expert
working knowledge of Visual Studio and asp.net programming is a must.
Statistical analysis and software experience with programs such as Excel
and Minitab, are a plus. Familiarity with project management, Six Sigma,
and the development life cycle are desired, but may be learned on the
job.
Producing, auditing, and verifying monthly metrics and reporting to
Management.
Compiling, analyzing, and identifying metric trends. Running monthly
reports for internal departments and business partners.
Planning and developing new metrics.
Providing business requirements for testing and production to the
development group.
Serving as a liaison to other business segments to discuss metrics
trends.
Technical Knowledge:
3+ years experience in VB, ASP and ASP.NET, SQL and PL/SQL
Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2005
Experience in Database Design and Programming
3+ years experience with analytic and metric reporting
A degree in statistics or business related field is preferred
ORACLE BI and Crystal Report experience is a plus
Candidates should possess a high desire to solve problems and answer
difficult data questions/issues
People Management:
Provide technical support and coaching to team members
Strong command of English Language
