Title : Websphere Portal Developer
Location : Naperville, IL
Duration : 4 + months contract to hire
Experience : 3 - 5 Years
Start Date : ASAP
Responsibilities:
To design and develop enhancements to the ALU personalized/authenticated intranet site.
The developer will work under close direction with the team lead, BSA and Project Manager.
Technical specifications will be required to be written for all development under the his/her responsibility
Required Skills:
- IBM WAS & WPS (V5 & V6 preferred) with the following experience:
- personalization and customization
- portlet configurations
- Java development skills (intermediate)
- Strong communication skills
- LDAP (iPlanet)
- Oracle
- UNIX (familiarity with Solaris required)
- Web Services (an asset)
- UI design and build (Themes and Skins)
- experience on IBM WAS (J2EE server) and IBM WPS (Portal server)
- strong experience in developing authenticated intranet applications, personalization, and Websphere/MS Sharepoint integration
- Excellent Analytical Skills are a must have
- Good Communication (written & verbal) Skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal management oversight.
