Job Title: Software Tester - QA Location: Corona, CA
Duration: 6 Months + Job Description/ Responsibilities: The Test Analysts for Membership Systems & Contact Centers (MS&CC) Testing team within the Health Plan Portfolio will execute quality assurance and testing activities for the Desktop Replacement project. This individual will report to the MSCC Test Manager and will take on the following responsibilities: Analyze requirements and external specifications to determine feasibility for testing and identify gap in requirements from testing standpoint Analyze and review test data requirements and establish process to create test data required to support testing efforts (Automated and manual) Creation of and ensuring proper execution of test specifications, test cases, test scripts in alignment with established methodology and ensure that it supports testing objectives Create and manage defects arising out of testing activities and preparing documentation to help triage and replicate the defect Ensure tests are executed and analyzed properly against the defined requirements Responsible for creating and running manual and automated tests cases against the applications, developing and maintaining manual and automated test suites and associated documentation Assist Test Lead with creation of Test Strategy, Test Execution Plan, mentor other team members Be a team player and work well within a matrixed environment. Basic/ Preferred Qualifications: Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Experience in testing Web (Internet) applications integrating with multiple legacy applications Strong problem solving, analytical skills in testing, development and automation CRM application experience with a major ERP Should have ability to write and execute complex SQL Statements in support of testing activities Experience with Automation Tool WinRunner, QTP or Programming languages like Visual Basic, C, Shell scripting. Working knowledge of Defect Management Tools preferably Mercury Tools. CRM application experience testing or development with one or more of the following - Pega, Chordiant, Siebel, SAP, Peoplesoft Testing experience with Call Center applications in support of Case management a plus Well organized with a positive attitude, and ability to work and communicate with all levels of management including external partners such as Vendors, System Integrators etc. Experience in the Healthcare industry/ domain Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to decompose documents to create test cases and scenarios for complex applications with many interfaces Familiarity with Mainframe, UNIX and Windows systems architecture Experience with Databases Oracle, DB2, Application and Web Server technologies Black or White box testing experience Familiarity with any Kaiser applications is a big-plus Thanks & Regards, Anderson Sr. Technical Recruiter
