*J2EE Oracle Infrastructure Engineer, San Francisco, CA - 6 to 12 Months*
Job description: Applicant must have at least 5 years experience as engineer, administrator, and technical analyst supporting development in setting up, configuring, and managing J2EE platform infrastructure. Major skills should include the following: application servers, portal servers, databases, directory servers, network com, candidates with 10+ years of experience are preferred. · OS Knowledge (Required) Extensive knowledge of Sun Solaris OS, HPUX OS, Windows 2003 server, and Windows XP/SP2. · Install/Setup Tasks (Required) Experienced in installing, setup, and configuration of J2EE application servers for Oracle and Sun platforms. · Expertise in Deployment Support tasks (Required) Sun J2EE Web and Rich client Application deployment that includes J2EE components deployed as EAR and/or WAR. Static and Dynamic (hot) deployment to application servers. · Maintenance and trouble-shooting tasks Experienced in maintaining the health of the platform servers. · Expertise in monitoring and debugging server and OS log files. · Development Language (Knowledge) Java, EJB 3.0, Hibernate, Spring, JavaScript, SQL, XML, XSL, X Query, HTML (in this order) · SOA (Knowledge) Web Services, Axis, SOAP, WSDL . · Messaging (Knowledge) JMS, MQ Series, Message Bus (Enterprise Service Bus) · Databases (Required) Oracle9i, PLSQL, SQL, MS Access, MS SQL Server2000, DB2 · Enterprise Application Development (Knowledge) JSP/Servlet/EJB, Taglibs, Struts, hibernate, Ant, Log4j ,J Unit, JMS, JAAS, XML, XSL, X Query. · Web front-end Development (Knowledge) JavaScript , HTML, XML, XSL, X Query · Servers (Required) (preferred) Oracle Application Server 10x, Oracle Portal Server 10x. , Sun One application Server, Apache Web Server, MS IIS Server. (Optional) Any Commercial J2EE application server. · Development Tools (Knowledge) Oracle J Developer, Eclipse 3x, · Methodology RUP, any SDLC based approach. · Quality Assurance Rational Clear Quest for defect tracking Design, Modeling, and documentation familiar of using UML in design and documentation of physical architecture using one or more of the following tools: Rational Rose, RSA, Visio, Magic Draw, etc. - Expert / 5 Plus Years Additional Information: Must be at client site in San Francisco, CA: Responsible for the health and operations of the J2EE Application Servers (Oracle Application Server components and Sun One application server components) Provide support for set-up, installation of tools into client's development and development and integration testing environments. Provide network administration for the A3 development team. Assists with assessment, development, and support of the network infrastructure for the A3 architecture.
