Duration:- 3 months CTH
CONTRACT-TO-HIRE, MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO CONVERT
Mid to senior level Application Developer utilizing Visual FoxPro
7.0 / 8.0, Visual Source Safe, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Automation,
PCAnyWhere, SQL, ODBC to plan, develop and launch internal systems for
Membership Management and Financial applications.
Qualifications:
. Proven track record in application development in a medium to large
corporate environment.
. Will need to develop plans encompassing the entire life cycle of projects
including documentation.
. Provide production support for problem resolution including working with a
problem management system.
. Must be able to work closely with application users to develop
requirements, test and solve problems.
. Must be able to work closely with other developers and internal
supervisors to collaborate effectively and efficiently.
. Should be flexible in terms of work priorities as established by our
business partners and I/T management.
. Provide weekly project/work status to manager; present to users or
business unit, as needed.
Daily activities:
Support and maintain the following applications as written in Visual FoxPro
(versions 7.0 & 8.0): CMRS (Customer Resource Management System), TX
Billing, E-Bills (Electronic Billing application), Rebates, Pharmacy Checks,
Accounting Report, Check Printing, Legacy Sentry, TX 835's. Daily activities
consist of; email monitoring, generation and delivery of electronic claims
files, bug fixes, software updates, user questions. Monitor nightly
processes, by reviewing emails, connecting into network and verifying data
integrity, connecting into network and verifying that standalone
applications are running, and possibly running application off hours.
Experience:
3 - 6+ years of experience working with Visual FoxPro
7.0 / 8.0, Visual Source Safe, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Automation,
PCAnyWhere, SQL, ODBC Experience leading small to medium projects or
components of large projects may be required. There is a possibility that
the systems supported will be re-written in JAVA or .NET. Experience in
either of these disciplines is a plus.
