Please send the resumes to [email protected] * * *JOB TITLE: ORACLE DBA*** *Location: St. Louis MO* *Bill Rate: $42 max* *Primary Technical Skill: DBA-Oracle* *Start Date: March 9* *Anticipated Assignment Duration: Up to 3 Months* *General Qualifications* Degree Preference: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems required Certification Requirement: *Assignment* The candidate will be responsible for the physical implementation and maintenance of Oracle database objects on a variety of Anheuser-Busch Oracle database servers. The candidate will be responsible for backup, recovery, and tuning Oracle databases in an environment that spans multiple hardware/OS platforms. *Primary Responsibilities* 1) Process customer requests to create new databases and database objects. Process requests to modify existing databases and database objects. 2) Assume responsibility as primary DBA on a set of databases. Serve as primary customer contact/liaison for these systems 3) Be available to provide 24-hour on-call support for all Oracle systems twice a month and as needed 4) Assist application developers with performance tuning of application queries 5) Monitor databases for compliance with internal standards. Update database definitions as needed to ensure compliance with standards. *Required General Skills* 1) Demonstrated integrity and honesty in all work-related areas. 2) Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with IT application development teams, technical support staff and customers 3) Team player willing to work closely and share knowledge with peers 4) Strong technical troubleshooting and problem analysis skills 5) Self-starter able to work independently without close supervision *Required Technical Skills* 1) DBA-Oracle - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience. *Working Environment* Work Location: SSH 3630 Work Schedule: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On-call Requirement: 3 days per month (after 3 mths training) Travel Requirement: none Avg Weekly Overtime Hrs: 0 Please call me if you have any questions.
