Skills:
- Cognos 8.3 or 8.4 (All Studios, Framework Manager, Enterprise Planning
Analyst, and Contributor)
- Able to translate business requirements to Cognos report
specifications
- Security implementation and parameterized SQLs
- Strong exposure to tabular SQL's conditional blocks and report
customization
- Cognos 8 SDK skills for portal customization
- Must be proficient with Cognos 8 BI/EP integration utilizing automation
and scripting.
- Experienced working with Databases: SQL Server 2005, Sybase
- Dimensional data modeling skills
- Strong SQL Server 2005 best practices database design
- Must be expert with Microsoft SSIS (ETL); ability to consolidate data
from multiple planning models.
- Automation scripting with SSIS packages.
- Strong written communication skills
- Understanding of budgeting process & financial reporting
