Title: QA with UNIX (2 positions) Duration: 4 mo contract++ Location: Alpharetta, GA Rate: $33/hr on 1099 Maxxx Required Skills: Requirements (Must have) --they must have all of these skills, and must be in work history to be considered - 5 yrs. + proven work experience in a structured Quality Assurance program based on best practices. - 5 yrs. + experience in UNIX -5 yrs. + experience testing data oriented applications -Primarily doing Manual Testing - Experience with HP Quality Center -Java web based testing experience -Ability to write PL/SQL code -Unix Scripting --Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts (manual and automated) from requirements and other sources that can be understood and easily followed by other quality associates. -Facilitate and participate in test plan and test case reviews with the test team, subject matter experts, and development to ensure the content, scope and accuracy of all test plans. -Build and review test data to support test scenarios. -Perform defect management from detection through resolution and retest. -Work with management to establish priorities and to ensure projects adhere to quality standards and deadlines. -Work with management to create and review workload and duration estimates for projects in the change management queue. -Manage the scope, timeliness and costs of projects to completion. -Participate in project meetings and planning sessions. Report the meeting topics back to management and to team members in a timely manner. -Implement, execute, and enforce corporate and departmental goals, methodologies and procedures.
