HI Friends,

Greetings from Frontier Technologies...**

Please check the below requirements and send me 100% matching resumes at *
[email protected]* <[email protected]> .**

*Please don’t send regular .NET resumes. Read the description properly.***

Location : Milwaukee WI (Locals preferred)**

Rate : DOE**

Duration: 6-9 month contract

10/10 communication is a must.

* *

I need a very strong candidate so please check the skills needed as below.**

* *

Environment

· VB.NET 2005 & 2008 all targeting .NET Framework 2.0

· InfoPath 2003 Client (client only, not using forms server)

· Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (the free Windows Server
component) currently

· Moving to MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server) 2007 (the full
blown server product) in future – they have it, but don’t have it
implemented yet

· SQL Server 2005

· An AS/400 environment that they interact with some for data
exchange, etc. – there are AS/400 people available when needed

Requirements

· They need someone with strong VB.NET. All their work in done in
VB. They have had some problems with people who are primarily C# developers
not knowing VB.NET well enough

· They use a lot of web services for data exchange, e.g. obtaining
data from the AS/400 or InfoPath. Developer needs to know how to write and
use web services.

· They do a lot of Workflow. Currently a lot of the workflow is
done within code within the InfoPath forms. They are converting that to use
SharePoint sequential or state workflows instead. Developer must know how
to develop and test SharePoint workflows.

· The developer may be involved in some VB.NET WinForms or
ASP.NETapplication development, but that will not be the primary
focus.

· The InfoPath forms development is done within Visual Studio, not
within InfoPath, so they can get source control and some other facilities.

· The developer will usually get fairly specific details on the
functionality that is needed, but not necessarily on how to do it.

· The developer will need to do the troubleshooting and testing of
what they are working on. Occasionally they may need to troubleshoot other
applications, but it will mostly be what they are doing.

Additional requirements/candidate characteristics

· We should look for applicants that have a significant amount,
preferably a majority, of their experience in doing maintenance and
enhancements to existing applications rather than new development.

· We need an applicant who has worked in an environment where they
have done all of the development process and not one where they hand testing
off to someone else.

· We need an applicant that has worked in smaller environments that
didn’t have a lot of formal methodologies in place and can work without that
framework of methodologies.
