*Need candidates with enough "Business Leadership" experience
MUST Be" highly articulate in verbal and written communications skills and
be able to facilitate discussions with Business and IT communities. This
person will develop and incorporate Information Security protocols. This
person will provide consultive guidance incorporating best practices for
information security areas. This group is developing a centralized
repository for data residing in for all regions. Must have strong HIPAA and
SOX experience.

*Position Description: Information Security Program Manager**
*
The Information Security Program Manager serves as the process owner for all
ongoing activities that serve to provide appropriate access to and protect
the confidentiality and integrity of membership, employee, and business
information in compliance with KP and regulatory policies and standards.


*Position Responsibilities: **
*Serves as an internal information security consultant to the IMS
Organization
Implements information security policies and procedures for the IMS
Organization
Documents new or leverages existing security policies and procedures created
for Data/Information Security purposes
Makes recommendations for IMS security adjustments and manages remediation
process
Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to create information
security awareness within the IMS Organization and its clients
Perform information security risk assessments and serves as an internal
auditor for security issues
Reviews all system-related security plans throughout the IMS portfolio
Monitors compliance with information security policies and procedures,
referring problems to the appropriate department manager
Serves as IMS representative on KP Data/Information Security related forums
Advises the IMS Organization on current information about information
security technologies and related regulatory issues
Monitors the internal control systems to ensure that appropriate access
levels are maintained

*Experience:*

A combined 10 years of experience in the following areas is required:
Information security
Data compliance
Data governance business process analysis, design, and improvement
Knowledge of health-care industry and associated regulations (HIPAA, SOX...)

*Requirements:*
Understanding of information security management principles
Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking skills.
Strong statistics knowledge, application, and tool use.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with numerous functional, technical and
operational stakeholders as a reliable, respectful and responsible partner.
Effective and clear verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to negotiate alternatives, facilitate acceptance and set
expectations with stakeholders.
Attention to detail and accuracy with business value focus.
Ability to understand the 'big picture' view and impact technology has on
business processes.
Solid working knowledge of core business functions such as data governance,
information management, data management, business intelligence, and
information technology
Strong PC skills, including MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio.
