Job Description: We require a consultant to create data feeds for import into legacy systems. This effort will require a candidate with exceptional database analytical skills that can write advanced queries against DB2 to pull policy and transaction details and create a fixed-format data feed. The candidate will require a core competency in Java to modify the existing application and excellent communication skills to work with the business to test the output feed file. Experience analyzing insurance policy data is highly sought. Description of Work: Analyze and define a data feed to pull policy and transactional details from the corporate database for Home and Commercial Auto products. The Java application to pull similar feeds is already developed and will be reused for these projects. The main efforts will be to analyze the corporate data and identify components required for each line of business and to complete iterative testing with the business. These tasks require superior analytical and communication skills. Skills Required: * Superior database query skills * Must possess the ability to write optimized complex queries against DB2. * Superior analytical skills * Must be able to analyze existing data and identify components required for the feeds. * Proficient in Java development * The Java application that will be used for these tasks already exists.
