We have very urgent requirement with one of my direct client.
Position title: Microsoft Certified Support Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 6+ Months
Position Description:
4 year degree and 7+ years experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience
Description:
Acts as a lead in providing technical guidance and consultation
associated with operating systems or subsystems.
Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and
determines system specifications and/or customizations.
Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total
systems.
Provides the strategy and design to build a utility for systems
programming tasks required for installations, configurations, upgrades and
testing.
Develops new documentation, departmental procedures and user
support guides. Consults with management, customers and staff and recommends
process and procedure improvements.
Identifies and provides guidance to less experienced staff and/or
resolves highly complex production problems.
Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the
work of less experienced staff.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for
supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the
business continuation plan.
Requesting Operations Systems Engineer to work on building out a
small server farm using Microsoft Technologies.
User must be Microsoft Certified and have experience installing,
configuring and Maintaining Microsoft Hyper-V Windows for Server 2008 R2, MOSS
(Microsoft Office SharePoint Server), SQL 2008, MS IIS & other Microsoft
technologies.
We'd also prefer someone who has had working knowledge of Dell
iSCSI storage arrays.
Individual should have knowledge setting up load balancing and
scheduling backups across a WAN.
Dell Certified Server Engineers strongly preferred.
