The candidate will design, construct and test efforts with the current product line and future enhancements. The products execute in a n-tier distributed environment where the front-end consists of HTML and JSP screens with Application Servers on UNIX/Solaris machines that interfaces to the Oracle/Main Frame backends. The candidate will be responsible for re-engineering, design, code and test for Web related projects. The senior developer will provide experience and expertise in OOA/OOD using UML methods, SDLC using C/C++ and/or Java programming languages. The candidate must have development experience in a well-defined SLDC environment with CMM exposure as a big plus. The developers must have the ability to comprehend business and functional requirements and translate the requirements into design, code and test with ease of maintenance and flexibility as part of their solution. Must have proven experience in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The candidate must be self-motivated, high-energy and articulate. The senior candidate will work closely with his/her management in defining the product vision and take on responsible for carrying out the plan. His/Her management will depend heavily on their expertise in the areas of modern software development methodologies to achieve rapid application development, reuse, low cost development and test and ease of deployment and maintenance. *Technical Requirements* • At least 5 years of Java/C++ programming experience in designing and developing applications • At least 5 years years of HTML/JSP, Java Script, DOJO, CSS, Unix, AJAX, SOAP, Structs • Solid experience on JSP/Servlets/J2EE Framework • Solid experience working with Design Patterns, UML, OOA/D and performance tuning of high-traffic and critical Web Applications. • Solid experience designing and developing Web and eCommerce applications.
