Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. *Roles and Responsibilities:* Oversee design and development of components from a release level; responsible for the design, development, and IST of all application components impacted by enhancements and break fixes Responsible for on-time delivery of high-quality code Support QA phase by tracking and assigning defects to development team; work with QA leads to schedule fixes and builds and enable QA to be successful Identify efficiencies and ways to improve design and development processes *Skills:* Expert Level Knowledge in the following: - Oracle - ClearCase - WebSphere - JSP - Java - PL/SQL - SQL - SQL Query *Additional Skills:* Oracle programming experience (stored procedures,PL/SQL, query optimization) Knowledge of open source tools and utilities Working knowledge of middleware services and its utilization. Experience coding and utilizing WebServices. Experience with scheduling jobs on CRON .
