Duration: 6 months. Rate: $35-40/hr 1. The person should have a minimum of 6-7 yrs strong experience in Web technologies/ Web Server administration/Web sites administration with around 8-10 years overall IT experience. 2. *Web technologies include Apache (installing, upgrading and tuning), PHP (PEAR, Image Magick and Ruby on Rails), Internet Information Services(ASP and ASP .NET installing, configuring and tuning), fundamental and advance knowledge of all Web/Multi-tier environments and communications (Web, Application and Database).* 3. Should have sound knowledge on installation, configuration and implementation of Apache, JBOSS and IIS. Advance knowledge of Web/Application/Database installation, configuration, troubleshooting and tuning all multi-tier environments. 4. Should have intermediate knowledge on Java based technologies (e.g. Jboss connectors, logs and troubleshooting). 5. *Should have advance knowledge on open source technologiesspecifically on LAMP. * 6. *Knowledge of F5 load balancer will be an added advantage. Advance knowledge on different load balancing methods, understanding on adding, troubleshooting and tuning, capable of scripting in Tcl (iRules), and understanding on multiple VLAN network environments.* 7. MySQL database configuration/ management/ optimization and tuning experience. 8. *Experience in shell scripting and/or other programming (Perl, Python) to accomplish various tasks** * 9. *Good working knowledge of Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Operating systems and TCP/IP concepts.** * 10. Person needs to be able to quickly understand complex infrastructures and configurations, adapt and be able to solve technical problems working from the front end to the backend 11. Experience handling project work (planning/implementation) for the above technologies would be an added advantage. 12. Should be well aware of ITIL process (Incident, Problem and Change Management). 13. Strong experience handling escalation situations 14. Need to be a team player with strong team driving skills as he will have some lead level duties 15. Good communication skills (both oral and written) are a must. 16. Good customer facing skills and strong consensus building skills. 17.
