Please send your reply directly to *[email protected]* for a quick response Please respond with:- Resume: Availability: Rate on c2c: Present Location: Contact number No. with Email ID: *Position: *Network Project Manager * * *Location: *Washington D.C *Duration:** *5 months** *Rate :* Open *Required Skills:* * * · Minimum 10-15 years of wireless network engineering, business and architecture experience including demonstrated experience in the design and documentation of complex wireless technical networks. · Must have experience in the integration of wireless technologies into next generation MPLS networks · Understanding of wireless infrastructure and protocols (proprietary, IMS and IP), and latest LAN/WAN/ISP protocols (MPLS, BGP, SIP), as well as latest-generation routers, telecommunications switches, and other ancillary equipment applicable to the planned data telecommunications environment is preferred. · Exceptional written skills including ability to author expository project documents (e.g., Statements of Work) and strategic analyses. · Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills. · Strong client skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization. · Minimum 5-10 years project management experience in a client service environment. · Proficiency in formal project management methods, including internal documentation and external communications. · Demonstrated ability to accurately project timing and associated costs across a range of project types, scale, and complexity. · First-hand oversight experience on wireless technical development efforts and ability to speak to merits of, and differences between, commonly used applications and technologies. *Work to be Performed:* * * *GPS Coverage:* * * · Develop detailed map of GPS coverage, particularly in northern Virginia · Provide recommendations on how to improve GPS in poor coverage areas * * *Engage Radio System Integrator:* * * Engage ACS (Xerox) to understand: · Receiver sensitivity · Interference measurements · Poll vs. contention rationale · "Reuse of contention slots · Measurements against theories developed through process · How reliable the MDT is in getting the GPS signal · How to fix MDTs with excessive GPS readings · How to identify if an operator can't log on to MDT due to an equipment failure · How to reduce unwanted traffic and so the pooling rate can be set 60 seconds · How to better monitor the DCC * * *Perform Statistical Analysis:* * * · Obtain separate poll and time point statistics by bus, route, channel and day · Perform analysis on data to determine the impact of bus, channel and route on each variable of performance. * * *Perform Outlier Analysis:* * * · Identify a sample of 10 poor performing buses and perform wireless measurements. · Analyze detailed performance data in detail over time · Determine if outside or internally generated RF interference at the remote radio sites is a factor and the source of the interference *Report:* * * · Produce report in soft and hard-copy form that documents the above work and provides specific recommendations on the next steps Metro must take to resolve the issues · This will cover performed test, methodology of test and test results. * * *Project Management:* * * · Will be the single point of contact (SPOC) for all issues related to system implementation. · The project manager will: o Develop project plan and milestone schedule o Conduct routine project status meetings o Conduct project closure meeting * * It has been a pleasure writing to you.
