JOB DESCRIPTION • Looking for a Software Engineer with excellent Java programming skills. The candidate will create enterprise-caliber Java systems with an eye towards internet security coding and standards. The candidate will work with a small development team, with the expectation of being able to carry out a task independently and with little supervision.The position is expected to interface extensively with QA and Product Management. The candidate must have good communication skills and should be comfortable communicating with engineers with wide range of experience. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills are a must.The candidate will work on a development environment with emphasis on a continuous integration process and unit testing. • The position requires a solid and experienced Java programmer having developed applications using the Struts framework. Security experience using toolkits that implement PKCS7, PKCS10, PKCS12, X.509, digital signatures, digital signature verification, key stores or certificate chains is desirable. Experience developing web services applications is desirable. *Duties:* • Make enhancements to our current SSL products * Design and implement software for new products integrated into current architecture * Security-related coding and design * Disciplined use of systems and procedures for build, source control and bug tracking * Comprehensive and extensive unit testing, Junit and otherwise. *Required Skills:* • 10+ years experience working with Java. * Solid Java development experience and a demonstration of superior ability a must. * Bachelor's degree in a technical field * Must be a team player. * The Candidate must be well versed in the following technologies: o Java (J2EE, Servlets, XSL, Junit). o OOP software design o Design Patterns o Jakarta Struts / Apache Ant o Oracle (preferably Oracle 11) , SQL and JDBC / Hibernate o Spring o JBOSS / Apache o SOAP/Web Services o HTML (CSS concepts) / JavaScript o Experience with Scrum, XP or other agile methodologies.
