Description Core Java Developer 6 Month Contract Chicago, IL Rate - $40/hr C2c This is a CORE JAVA Developer position with Design work as well. MUST HAVES: Technical competency: Strong Core Developer who understands Threading, collections, and any OO tools. Problem solving skills, express outside technical terms. Ability to work in a web based application server environment: Tomcat or Weblogic MVC Framework JSP???s UI Framework Javascripting and AJAX on the front side. Webservices Major Pluses: Oracle SQL JDBC Messaging JMS Selenium is a huge plus Project: Will be major enhancements to this project. Will be involved with Design and Development testing. Job Description: Seeking Java developer with the following skills and experience: - Excellent in core java fundamentals - Excellent problem solving and design skills - Solid experience in web development, java script and Ajax - Experience with using Tomcat or other Java Application Server for executing applications - Proficient in data retrieval and data parsing which follows defined message specifications. Experience with Tibco or other data delivery system a plus - Proficient in Oracle database SQL. - Strong ability to learn existing applications quickly and to be able to make modifications to them. - Ability to work independently.
