Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Maintenance of reporting infrastructure, systems and databases (MS Access, SQL, Hyperion Essbase ASO/BSO cubes, rules, Lawson 8.0.1, Hyperion Planning 9.3.0.1, Workspace, Web Analysis Add-Ins, intranet pages, Track It tickets, etc). • Enhancement of systems via patch updates, tuning, and upgrades. • Facilitate data extractions from SQL and via ODBC connections and data feeds to Essbase. • Understanding of Essbase rules and systems automation. • Maintain user security within applications and databases. • Assist users in solving systems related problems, questions, errors. • Generate reports from queries or Essbase as necessary. • Assist in new and existing application development projects including upgrades, implementations, data integration and verifications. *Qualifications / Skills* • Strong Hyperion Essbase 9.3.0 and MS Access 2000-2007 skills required. • Hyperion Planning, Web Analysis, Financial Reporting Studio, MaxL, Esscmd, batch scripting. Lawson experience desired. • Strong understanding of multi-dimensional and relational databases. • Some experience working with application vendors. • Must be able to work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team. • Strong communication skills, able to communicate with non-technical personnel.
