Position: PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Testing Coordinator
Location: Tucson, AZ
Duration: 3-6 months extendable
Start date is June 7th
The specific assignment will be:  
The PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Testing Coordinator  will be working with the 
Campus Solutions Technical Leads, Campus Solutions Developers, and the Campus 
Solutions Implementation Team members.
Specific duties include:
• Overall responsibility for management of the testing process including the 
coordination of any physical facility and equipment.
• Work directly with the UA Testing Coordinator to insure knowledge transfer of 
best practices for testing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions functionality. 
• Manage test environments to insure that the systems are accurately installed 
and all test modules are available and accessible to users during testing. 
• Coordinate with staff who are assigned to the Mosaic Project—Student 
Administration to insure that a broad range of activities and exercises are 
developed that will thoroughly test the various features and modules of 
PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Plan, design, develop, and schedule all activities and exercises related to 
system and application testing for the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Design exercises for users to perform actual testing of the application in a 
laboratory setting.  The exercises will be a thorough test of how the 
application works including a validation of final output for accuracy and 
balancing to the system inputs.
• Prepare documentation of test exercises and activities to assist campus 
departmental testers in navigating through test exercises.  
• Review, evaluate and document user feedback on test exercises and test 
results for reporting to Student Administration Implementation Directors for 
changes, revisions, or corrections to the system.
• Advocate with users to become testers to thoroughly utilize all PeopleSoft 
Campus Solutions features and offer feedback, insight, and suggestions on what 
works, what doesn’t, and what could be done to improve the processes.
• Coordinate with IT Training Unit in their planning, development and 
presentation of training programs for users of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
Special Qualifications:
Required Skills:
• Experience with testing and implementing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, 
preferably in Version 9.0 and emphasis on experience in testing the PeopleSoft 
student financial module.
• Experience in managing or coordinating an information technology testing 
laboratory site and environment.
• Experience in analyzing planning, developing, and documenting test activities 
and exercises for information technology systems. 
• Skill in presenting instructions and system information in a logical, 
organized manner to diverse audiences.  
• Knowledge of principles and techniques used in systems testing. 
Optional Skills:
• Experience working with management, systems developers, and users of 
administrative information systems.
• Experience using software tools used in business systems such as Visio, 
Microsoft Word and MS Project.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Ability to write for variety of audiences.
