Datastage Administrator PEAPACK, NJ 6+ months Rate: $50/Hr C2C MAX RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for the Installation and Administration of DataStage 8.1.1 2. Responsible for the migration of ETL Projects from DataStage 7.5 to DataStage 8.1.1 3. Responsible for preparing the technical specifications from the business requirements 4. Responsible for developing database applications using Oracle, PL/SQL and UNIX ksh scripts 5. Work with the users and reporting team to collect and understand the requirements 6. Work with the data owners to resolve any issues to maintain the reliability of the data 7. Responsible for communicating with other IT groups in collecting the requirements and also implementing the applications 8. Develop and maintain the detailed project documentation QUALIFICATIONS: 1. DataStage 8.1.1 installation and administration experience Â- MUST 2. LINUX experience - MUST 3. Expert in designing and developing the ETL processes using DataStage Server 7.5 & 8.1.1 under UNIX/LINUX and Oracle 9i/10g/11g environment Â- MUST 4. Highly knowledgeable in data warehousing concepts and technologies Â- MUST 5. In depth experience with client server applications and architectures Â- MUST 6. In depth hands on experience in Oracle 9i/10g Â- MUST 7. Working experience with ERwin data modeling tool Â- MUST 8. In depth understanding and development experience using SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX ksh scripting languages Â- MUST 9. Excellent Written and Verbal co! mmunication skills with the ability to interact with senior business and technical IT management Â- MUST 10. Strong Analytical and problem solving abilities Â- MUST 11. Experience with DataStage PX Â- PREFERRED 12. Oracle SQL tuning experience Â- PREFERRED 13.
