KEY: DBA WHO HAS DATAWAREHOUSE EXP, MV’S and LOGICAL DIMENSIONS DESCRIPTION: Work with Data Warehouse in Major Company Initiative! Opening in Raleigh, North Carolina at a global company seeking an Oracle Database Programmer/DBA to assist in database development and warehouse configuration/cleansing. This position requires 5 years of experience with Oracle Database Development, PL/SQL, materialized views, MV process and DBA processes. You should have solid relational database background with Oracle 10G. Any ETL experience is a plus. Ideally, seeking skills in designing source and target models, process mappings, and data mappings. Plus, performance tuning of SQL statements, including utilization of explain plans, tkprof. You must be able to define and implement logical and physical data models, including database objects, materialized views , MV process, and PL/ SQL procedures. Would be ideal if you have sound experience in building of datamarts, enhancements and maintenance of existing ones. You'll be expected to design and develop data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching. Familiarity with database administration and development tools, such as TOAD. Utilize TOAD and SQL Plus for data analysis. Broad-based cross- functional IT experience in application development and interface design is essential.
