We have urgent requirement of Java/Oracle PL/SQL Position in Marlborough, MA Java/Oracle PL/SQL Position Marlborough, MA 6+ months Keys to this Position: Java/J2EE, solid Oracle PL/SQL, Weblogic, MQ, XML, JMS, Investment sector exp. a solid plus. Technical breakdown would be 60% Java and 40% Oracle PL/SQL. This role requires the candidate to be strong on the front and back end. Responsibilities Ø Participate in design, implementation, deployment, and support efforts. Ø Design, prototype and code new software components and applications based on functional specifications. Ø Coordinate with analyst teams to execute test plans and provide support during user acceptance testing. Ø Modify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new functionality and to optimize them for performance. Ø Provide day-to-day production systems support including monitoring, trouble-shooting and fixing problems as they occur. Ø Work with other software engineers to design and implement application features and business functionality enhancements.
