The Enterprise Data warehouse team is currently looking for talented and highly motivated Business Objects Senior Administrator/Developer that can partner with development and test teams across to support and help expand our Business Objects functions on Enterprise Data Warehouse. Business Objects Senior Administrator/Developer will maintain and support Business Objects environments in Development, Test, and Pre-Production environments. The candidate will be primary contact for all issues related to these environments. This engagement is anticipated to be 7 months. The Enterprise Data warehouse team is currently looking for talented and highly motivated Business Objects Senior Administrator/Developer that can partner with development and test teams across to support and help expand our Business Objects functions on Enterprise Data Warehouse. Business Objects Senior Administrator/Developer will maintain and support Business Objects environments in Development, Test, and Pre-Production environments. The candidate will be primary contact for all issues related to these environments. *General Responsibilities*: - Business Objects Senior Administrator/Developer will be primarily responsible for the platform architecture and application support of Development, Test, and Pre-Prod Environments within the Data Warehouse Organization. - The candidate will also provide support to the Production team during fix pack or upgrade projects. Data Warehouse Business Objects environment is shared across multiple groups, the candidate will provide application support and communication to all users of the environments. - The candidate must be able to design universes or develop reports and provide support to the development team. - The candidate should have strong knowledge in the management of Business Objects servers and capacity analysis/planning. *Candidate Requirements:* * * *Qualifications*: - Solid understanding of Business Objects Architecture and at least 5 years of experience in Business Objects Administration. - Must have a solid understanding of Business Objects XI R3.1 Applications (Webi, Infoview, Crystal, Xcelcius, Strategy Management, Live Office) - Must have ability to fully install and configure the Business Objects Enterprise toolset in Development, Test, and Production Environments. - Must have at least two years of experience in Universe Design and development, Report Development, and Scorecard development. - Must have experience in downloading and applying Business Objects fix packs, upgrades. - Logging and Managing support tickets with Business Objects and ensuring tickets are resolved in a timely fashion. - Must have at least two years of experience in writing SQL in MS SQL Server, DB2 or Oracle Databases. - Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Work Experience and Education Guidelines*: - Must have at least 5 years of experience in Business Objects (BOE) Administration. - Must have work experience in Business Objects XI R3.1 - Must have a Bachelors degree in technical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering or similar) *Core Competencies:* - Business Objects Administration.
