Senior Software Developer Port Washington, NY Duration - 9 months Job Description: Senior Software Developer with Microsoft Visual C++ Developer (COM, DCOM, ATL, MFC) and ASC X12 Health Care experience. In this role you will be required to appropriately utilize the Clients Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model to specify and document all developed solutions. All applications developed must conform to programming standards. It will also be necessary make recommendations to enhance and coordinate programming activities and standards to be used for all software development throughout the company. Must have: Proficient with C++ / MS Visual Studio/ COM / DCOM / ATL / MFC - Experience with ASC X12 (270,271,276,277,834,835) standards, particularly Health Care transaction sets would be a strong plus PL/SQL (5-7 years) 9IR2 or Above Visual ++(5-7 years) SQL (5-7 years) Oracle Custom Database (3/5 years) Must possess a strong understanding of software engineering principals including data normalization, structured programming and software development cycles. Must have solid programming skills and a sound understanding of data structures, database theory and database administration.
