Position: Java Programmer
Location: Yonkers NY
Duration: 6 Months
Job Requirement:
a.. Architect, design and develop new applications and modify current systems
for telecom initiatives
b.. Integrate disparate systems including: Aspect ACD, Genesys IVR and Nuance
Speech engine; SQL Server and Oracle databases; Apache TomCat, JBOSS and IIS
web servers
Technical Skills Required (please note required proficiency level):
a.. Excellent Java-J2EE skills, a minimum of 7 years Java development
experience
b.. Strong Hibernate, Struts 2x, Web 2.0, AJAX, DOJO, HTML, JSON and UML
skills
c.. Strong proficiency in database programming in both SQL and Oracle
d.. Experience in object oriented development methodology
e.. Experience programming with APIs
f.. Solid desktop and server computing skills, including installing and
troubleshooting applications
g.. Experience in VXML, developing and tuning grammars is a plus; experience
programming in .Net is a plus
h.. Any general knowledge of telecom and telecom systems (ACD, IVR, CTI, Call
Monitoring) is a plus
Other Qualifications:
a.. Excellent logical and analytical programming skills, demonstrated ability
to find pro-active solutions
b.. Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively with managers,
end-users, and technical staff
c.. Experience with full application life cycle, including application
definition, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
d.. Proficiency in documentation, particularly design specifications &
process flow diagrams
e.. Experience with project time estimates
