This application development position will assist Access Management's development team in continuing enhancements and maintenance for the Access Request Tool (ART). ART was developed in-house as a single application portal for thousands of internal users to request security access to other applications and resources within the bank. The system has been in production operation for almost a year. The chosen candidate will be responsible for implementing new features, refactoring existing code and troubleshooting bugs. Upcoming work also involves consolidation and integration of Wachovia-acquired data and systems. This application incorporates .NET 3.5 technologies, including LINQ and WCF in addition to JavaScript UI frameworks (e.g. JQuery). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years .NET experience and be proficient with: Visual Studio 2008, C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, Web Services and JSON. Dependability and effective communication skills are a must.
