*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Middleware Software Engineer Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 7+ month contract Job Description: The next generation video gateway is built from the ground up using open standards, ensuring ease of interoperability for service providers’ service delivery to various types of devices connected to the home network. You will be a key contributor to the gateway development team and provide technical guidance to other team members, utilizing your knowledge and/or background in Telco and Cable Industry Standards. Candidates must have at least 7 years experience of embedded OS software development in C or C++ language, and must be familiar with Linux, network programming/technology and in several of the following application layer standards or technologies – IP Technology, UPnP, DLNA, DRM, MPEG, home router, DOCSIS, VoIP, WiFi, Web Service/UI and OpenCable Home Networking. You should have a solid knowledge of Linux software design concepts and the development environment as well. Good communication skills are a must. BS/MSCS or equivalent experience required.
