Position: Unix Systems Administrator
Location: MO
Duration: 12 Months
Job Requirement:
· 2-5 years experience in systems administration.
· Solid knowledge of operating systems, infrastructure software,
communications, computer hardware and peripherals.
· Strong command of multi-platform OS, communication software and
hardware, security software and application subsystems.
Skills/ Abilities:
· Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
· Ability to identify tasks which should be automated and then write the
necessary scripts.
· Solid understanding of the OS and can perform system elementary
analysis and tuning.
· Solid understanding of networking concepts.
IMPORTANT: MUST BE ABLE TO BUILD AIX BOXES FROM SCRATCH!!!
Experience with some of the following:
· Tivoli monitoring, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas HA Cluster, Veritas
File System, zfs , AutoSecure, Autosys, Virtualization ( LPAR, LDOM, Vmware,
VIO) and EMC storage . Sun Solaris 10 or Sun x86, AIX 6.x experience and
Storage Area Network experience (SAN) is required. Sun or AIX System
· Administration Certification is a plus.
· Oracle and DB2 installation and configuration experience is a plus.
