Job Title: PeopleSoft Administrator

Duration: 6 months Contract

Title: Administrator - PeopleSoft
Requirements:
•         2-5 years Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x/8.x application
•         Experience with Oracle database and non oracle databases
•         Experience with Linux, Unix, and windows
•         Responsibility for Environment Management:
•         Participate in the migration of patches, upgrades and
changes to production as well as support and maintenance of the
PeopleSoft Application Environment (Application Server, Process
Scheduler, Web Servers, PeopleTools, and other related tools).
•         Responsible for maintaining documentation on patch level and
changes applied in production environment.
•         Drive improvements in operational procedures including
devising, documenting and presenting improvements to team members
•         Proactive monitoring of the environment to ensure it is
functioning optimally.
•         Demonstrable knowledge of PeopleTools 8.49, PeopleSoft HCM
8.9 working on Oracle 12g on LINUX.
•         Knowledge of WebLogic 9.1
•         SQL including tuning
•         Understanding of PeopleCode, SQR scripting, Component
Interfaces and Application Engines
•         Configuration and management of Integration Broker and
Process Scheduler
•         Linux Shell scripting
•         Experience of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools upgrades and patches
•         PeopleSoft architecture (including PIA-Pure Internet
Architecture and Application Server)
Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional experience in Oracle
PeopleSoft technology, including system administration
Duties:
Your role will require coordination of activities with other
administrators, developers and functional persons with a specific
responsibility for enforcing procedures relating to Change Management
and Control.
•         You will also be required to liaise with the database
support team, LINUX and Windows server operations teams and the
Middleware teams for all database and server maintenance activity.
•         You will be responsible for coordination of the
communication of patches, upgrades, and changes to production,
including the schedule, to all affected parties (technical staff and
end users).
•         You will participate in Incident and Problem Management
activities where they relate to the system Administration function as
well as all the batch processing supported by the team (PeopleSoft and
non- PeopleSoft).
•         Participate in the development of procedures for monitoring,
tracking progress and reporting on internal problem resolution within
PeopleSoft
