*Long-term contract for 12+ months* *Location fort worth, TX. * *Consultants can be from anywhere in US as long as they are willing to come for inperson interview after the telephonic round.* *H1 ok must be able to interview F2F.* * * *Webfocus Application Developer *DUTIES: The primary responsibilities of this position involves the administration of an AIX WebFOCUS Environment as well as training and support of the numerous developers utilizing the environment. This environment connects to numerous data sources that include Teradata, DB2, Oracle, Mainframe Flat Files and GIS data. The Candidate is experienced in analysis, design, coding, and tuning of queries and reports built using WebFOCUS. Additionally, the candidate works with the business developers with varying degrees of knowledge and expertise using WebFOCUS and determines the level of appropriate assistance to give to individual developers to allow them to become self sufficient in their respective roles. The individual performs other duties as assigned. This position will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of the railroad departmental structure. Required Qualifications: • An expert at administrating and developing in AIX WebFOCUS 7.6.5 or higher from a license and software perspective. • An expert at developing complex WebFOCUS reports and understanding complex concepts. • Strong knowledge of the complicated licensing structure and products available for WebFOCUS by IBI. • Strong working knowledge of MRE, WebFOCUS Adobe Flex, Visual Discovery and Active Reports. • Strong working knowledge of rendering GIS data on maps utilizing Google API’s and ESRI. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers and management. • Experienced and comfortable speaking and teaching to large audiences at a technical level that can be understood by novice and experienced WebFOCUS developers. • Solid analysis and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of railroad Operations, Engineering, Finance, Mechanical and Labor Relations needs and systems. Preferred Qualifications: • Working knowledge of Teradata, Teradata utilities (Tpump, Mload, Bteq, Fastload, Fastexport) and SQL. • Knowledge of ETL processes in the Teradata environment. • Experience with MVS and JCL. • Experience with OLAP tools (Essbase), perl, and shell scripting. • Experience with Informatica. • Knowledge of SAS, IBM DB2 Alphablox and FTP. *The referral of your friends and colleagues are highly appreciated. * Thank You, Rizwana 972-580-0247 Ext: 218 [email protected]
