Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Web Services Tester Position: 2 Duration: 6+ months Location: Northbrook, IL Interview: Immediate Description: - The basic skill set will be to look at the mapping documents and file format documents and then to build tests that exercise all of the different types of data that will flow through the system. - The testers will need to be able to work at the file level, it will be too tedious and non-repeatable to manually do things with the User interfaces. - Some medium ability to work with a DB will also be useful. - The skill there is to be able to use a tool like TOAD to query the database to find data in the database. - The XML structures and mapping requirements are fairly complicated, so the testers need to have a good working knowledge of XML and XML Schema Definitions (XSDs). - Lastly, some of the interfaces will be web services based. So experience with a testing tool for web services will be needed. - Soap UI is one web services testing tool that comes to mind, but there are lots of other tools out there for testing web services Thanks & Regards Acer Mc Entellects Corp.
